ROSWELL, NM – According to KRQE, a two-year-old was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Roswell Tuesday.

The accident took place around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Cherry Street.

The child was outside with his brothers who say he was hit by a white car. A man got out of the vehicle and took the child to his mother before fleeing the scene.

As of yesterday, the child was in intensive care, but his condition was stable.
