ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to a series of tweets sent out by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department, Route 66 has reopened after a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian shut down the highway in both directions earlier today.

The accident closed the roadway between Tramway Boulevard and Carnuel. It was first reported at 10:25 a.m. and was cleared by 10:40 a.m.
