ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KRQE, Albuquerque police are investigating a pedestrian hit-and-run accident that killed a man yesterday afternoon.
The accident took place at Montgomery Boulevard and San Mateo Boulevard around 1:45 p.m. when a vehicle struck a man who appeared to have been panhandling. The man died at the scene of the crash while the driver fled.
The suspect’s vehicle was located shortly after the crash and police are not attempting to find the suspect.
