Free Accident and Safety App
Sloan, Bagley, Hatcher & Perry Law Firm has introduced a free safety, accident and injury mobile app for iOS and Android smartphone and tablet platforms. The Sloan Firm's Texas Injury Helpline App equips teen and experienced drivers, passengers, workers at job sites, witnesses and first responders with a variety of helpful tools.
Features of The Texas Injury Helpline App include, but are not limited to:
- Emergency contact information accessible through the "My ICE" icon. ICE stands for "In Case of Emergency" and alerts emergency personnel to look on a person's smart phone in anemergency situation. The "My ICE" icon is a universal symbol that is recognized by emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and first responders.
- Listings of medical information and records (for sharing information about health conditions, medications, past surgeries, and allergies);
- A Global Positioning Satellite-enabled locator (for finding and reporting remote, obscure, dangerous or unknown locations); and,
- Camera and audio recording for documenting accident scenes and evidence for potential insurance and injury claims (such as skid marks and witness comments).
